Various user groups and communities worldwide help tech practitioners learn and grow in their fields of interest. AWS has a community builders program and various local user groups. I’ve already written about this in one of my previous posts.
Snowflake offers the Data Superhero program for passionate builders and recently launched the Snowflake Squad, a new initiative. Snowflake Squad aims to recognize the contributions of various data practitioners who have been actively engaging with the Snowflake community by writing blogs, creating videos, or creating any other form of content.
While the Data Superhero has a few selected Snowflake experts, the Snowflake Squad is for a much wider audience and has less strict membership rules.
If you are using or learning Snowflake and involved in any of the below activities:
Active on the Snowflake community forum
Write Snowflake posts on LinkedIn, X, Medium, or other forums
Creating Snowflake videos on YouTube
or helping the community in other forms, like organizing, attending or speaking at user group events.
you should apply to become a Snowflake Squad member.
I recently got selected as one of the very first members of this newly formed squad and am looking forward to connecting with other Snowflake participants.
The application form is now live, and we are looking for more members. So what are you waiting for - APPLY TODAY!
And if you need more information or any help to fill out the application, you can DM me on LinkedIn.
